Molten

25th october, 18:23:20
(i believe that is a helicopter flying low
above the sea in front of the moon!)

she looks so mystical & ancient
as she rises from the deep...
it seems that memories of all ages
are etched upon her face...

18:25:06

she mesmerises with
her single hypnotic eye...
i fall into her gaze
and share some of the visions
she has seen...

18:25:48

molten...
she emerges

dripping liquid light
a pool of healing lunar energy
left upon the ocean...

18:26:16

hanging between sea & sky
with such an intensity
i feel the force that pulls the tides...

18:31

like an ember glowing,
ascending into cloud...

18:58:08

she pulls the veil
from across her face
and reveals a golden hue...

18:59:42

somewhere else she’s silver
against a midnight sky
and somewhere she is snowy white
against a sky of blue
19:02:22

she leaves... all that remains is
a lingering trail upon the water,
a moon-path across the waves,
at this moment i could easily follow...

Because I'm taking photographs I'm checking moon rise/set times... otherwise i would probably have missed it. It's only red/orange when real low down, and i think mainly at this time of year. Half an hour or even less makes such a difference... you can see the colour changing. Sooo glad i remembered to look outside for this one!
