Emerging from the Shadows...

winter solstice full moon
21 december, 2010, 18:29

It seems that the eclipse of the moon addled my brain! No posts since then~ i have withdrawn a little... no shortage of thoughts but the desire, or rather the impetus to share has been lacking. I have felt cocooned from the world of late... not engaging so much with others... not feeling any need to. But all is well in my world.

18th january, 2011... 18:43

I have felt different, powerful energies at work... gradually filtering in to my human consciousness, which at times feels pitifully inadequate... sometimes it feels good to kick out & swim against the tide, but this has not been one of those times... and so i have surrendered to the current... drifting... not aimlessly, just enjoying being carried along... allowing the energy of the cosmos to flow through me...
whilst i lay back and assimilated thoughts & ideas... looked back over lessons and looked forward towards the future...

19th january, 18:53

A time of renewal... like trees with no outward sign of growth preparing for spring, like a chrysalis invisibly transforming within... like the moon emerging from earth's shadow... i feel ready to re-emerge from the shadow in which i have cocooned myself... re-energised...

8th february, 23:28

The forces to act & do have been building since the last new moon and again i am compelled to write & reach out. I know that as we approach this dark moon, I won't let her leave me behind and rise without me.

Wow, that crescent at the bottom is just STUNNING! Well, as are all of these moon-shots, love them!

Thanks for the tips again on Etsy. I was wondering about that whole circle etiquette thing. I do think I'll keep it to folks I know or that I connect with.

My camera is a point and shoot, haven't found the manual setting yet, if it has them. I'm a 35 mm convert relatively recently, so sometimes I miss using my Pentax! Thanks for the offer to help if I ever find the time to actually READ my camera manual!
